Transport/Parking
Priory Park is within a ten minute walk of Reigate train station. Local car parks (all pay and display) within a ten minute walk of Priory Park are located at Bell Street, Bancroft Road (multi-story), Upper West Street and at the Town Hall at Castlefield Road.
Course
The race start/finish is adjacent to the tennis courts and approximately 200m from the park café.
The course will be the usual 2.5 mile undulating route used for previous Surrey League fixtures. The route will be marked with flags/signs/tape and there will be marshals at key junctions. Recommended footwear will be fell shoes/spikes (or shoes with very good off-road grip). There is a long and technical descent towards the end of the lap that requires particular care.
We will be sharing the park and runners are requested to respect fellow users and take care as appropriate.
Changing/toilets
Please note there are no changing facilities within the park. There are toilets within the park café (200m from the start) and at the far end of the Morrison’s supermarket car park (at the Bell Street junction).
Numbers/Declaration sheets
Team managers must either enter their athletes on line or bring their declaration sheets to the start. Running names and categories need to be clearly readable. For the senior race please state U20/Senior/Vet. Veterans must now be classified specifically i.e M40, M50, or M60.
Results schedule
Provisional results will be compiled following the race and will be posted on the Surrey League website on Saturday evening. These will be provisional and subject to change. Final results will be updated accordingly on the website.
If you have any other queries, please do not hesitate to contact myself.
We look forward to welcoming you to the park and having an enjoyable event.
